DESCRIPTION:At either of these two meeting times\, Alderman Pawar invites you to learn about and comment on Ribfest's request to close Lincoln Avenue (and side streets to alley) from Irving Park to Berteau at 7:00 PM on Thursday June 8 (instead of 5:00 AM Friday June 9). This would mean the festival setup would begin earlier in the evening and end by 11:00 PM that Thursday night.\n\n\n\nParking on Lincoln Avenue would be restricted starting 3:00 PM that Thursday.\n\n\n\nThe stated benefit of this earlier setup would be reduced early morning noise and side street congestion on that Friday. Also the Thursday equipment setup would allow for reduced deliveries Friday and should eliminate Saturday deliveries completely.\n\n\n\nRepresentatives from the Northcenter chamber and fest organizer BigBuzz Idea Group will be in attendance to present this proposal and answer any questions at both meeting times.
