DESCRIPTION:Earlier this year\, the 47th Ward Office hosted the first in a series of community conversations about the impact that deconversions and demolitions of two and three-flats in Lincoln Square/Northcenter. As you may know\, in the past five years\, both community areas have lost affordable homes at a faster rate than nearly every other neighborhood in Chicago\, and the deconversion and demolition of small and multi-unit buildings continues to contribute to that rapid loss of affordability. \n\nOn May 24 at 6:30 PM\, we will host a virtual listening session to hear directly from neighbors about the impact of demolitions and deconversions and to learn about your preferences for potential policy solutions.\n\nRegister to attend on Zoom.
