DESCRIPTION:Applications are available now through May 31st for funding from the Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF) in the Western Avenue North TIF and the Western Avenue South TIF. Applications for both areas are due on May 31\, 2018 at 5 pm. \n\n\n \n\nThe SBIF program uses Tax Increment Financing (TIF) revenues to assist owners and tenants of commercial\n\nand industrial properties with financing for permanent building improvements. Program participants can\n\nreceive reimbursement grants covering 25%\, 50%\, or 75% of approved project costs. Grants are provided\n\nafter an approved project is complete and all expenses are paid.\n\n \n\n\n\nInterested business and property owners can visit www.somercor.com/sbif for more information and the application.\n\n \n\nIf you are interested in learning more\, representatives from SomerCor\, who oversee the SBIF program\, will be hosting an informational session at the Chamber office on May 17th.
