DESCRIPTION:Additional funding has been granted to the Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF) program for the Western Avenue South TIF area\, which includes parts of Northcenter and Roscoe Village (including parts of Western Avenue\, Lincoln\, Damen and Irving Park Road).\n\n\n\nThe SBIF program uses Tax Increment Financing (TIF) revenues to assist owners and tenants of commercial and industrial properties with financing for permanent building improvements. Program participants can receive reimbursement grants covering 25%\, 50%\, or 75% of approved project costs. Grants are provided after an approved project is complete and all expenses are paid.\n\n\n\nMore information about the SBIF program can be found below. A meeting will be held for business owners in the TIF area interested in the SBIF program on Friday\, January 22nd\, 2016 at 8 a.m. at the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce office\, 4054 N.
