Welcome to Adult Modern Dance!

Classes are taught at a relaxed pace in a welcoming, non-competitive environment with short, fun combinations. Gain strength and flexibility, improve coordination and make some new friends! The class combines modern dance, ballet and yoga with an occasional pinch of improvisation.  All ages over 21 welcome.

No experience necessary. Taught by Lin Shook, Artistic Director of Perceptual Motion, Inc.

Lin Shook's Adult Modern Dance Class was just what I was looking for!  I have been commuting from the suburbs to take this class for more than six years because it feeds my soul!  Combining modern dance, ballet, yoga, improvisation, the class is great exercise for the mind and the body and a wonderful experience for the soul to actually dance, regardless of your previous experience.  Lin challenges her students, but also gives them the guidance and encouragement to stretch themselves.  I always come away from the class feeling renewed!
