August 2017 Business Luncheon
Our business owners pride themselves on being good neighbors, and our August luncheon is all about being neighborly. This month, a local panel will be discussing how to make your business more accessible, welcoming & affirming to members of our community.
Local business owners and community advocates will discuss best practices for fostering an age-friendly business environment, making your business more accessible & welcoming to customers & colleagues with disabilities and creating a safe, affirming environment for LGBTQ employees & guests.
Our discussion panel will include:
- Karen Kolb Flude, Forward Chicago
- Ben Kennedy, Kennedy Mann Architecture
- Catherine Aranas, Career Services Manager, Neumann Family Services
- Liz Jackson Hearns, The Voice Lab
- Paula Basta, Age Friendly Chicago
Special thanks to Mary Ellen Considine, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and the Law Offices of Sima L. Kirsch for their generous support of our luncheon program.
