Vantave, Inc in support of the Links, Inc is sponsoring the North Shore (IL) Chapters of The Links, Incorporated for the third-annual Black Family Wellness Fair where All Are Welcome on Saturday, March 21st from 10 am - 2 pm. The Expo is in an effort to raise awareness of chronic health conditions such as chronic kidney disease and reduce health and economic disparities to save and improve lives in the Black community through prevention and timely intervention. This effort in EVANSTON, IL is aimed at addressing multiple disparities that negatively impact the health and quality of life for many in this community. The local event is a part of The Links, Incorporated’s nationwide Black Family Wellness Expos being held across the country on March 21, 2026 which aims to leverage its entire membership in the effort to improve family outcomes. Black Family Wellness Expo-Evanston contributes to The Links National Wellness Expos effort to raise awareness about health conditions that shorten or impact the quality of life for those in the Black community. The Expo is also an opportunity to raise awareness about financial literacy, mental health, dental care, among many other resources. The entire family is included, from infant to senior citizen. Some of the resources that that will be available are: kidney and glucose screening and resources; organ/tissue donor awareness/signup; dental screening; mental health awareness; voter registration information.   We’re excited to be able to offer a variety of fitness and other beneficial activities including: an obstacle course for the whole family to enjoy, yoga, line dancing, a mindful children’s art project, gardening tips along with a free grocery give away for the first 30 families, free haircuts for kids, and so much more!
