Made in Chicago
You're invited to Celebrate Chicago Dance Month at the Harold Washington Library with "Made in Chicago", featuring NorthCenter's own Lin Shook & Perceptual Motion, Inc. Dance Company. The performance is presented by the Visual and Performing Arts Department and takes place in the library's Cindy Pritzker Auditorium. See a sampling of dances by Artistic Director Lin Shook and Guest Choreographer Harvard Vallance. Dancers are aged 25 to 82! See the premiere of Keep Moving! the winning idea from the Your Ideas in Motion Contest -inspired by Dick Van Dyke's book Keep Moving. Works from the company repertory include Vallance's "Dance 101", Shook/Vallance's "Poles Apart", and Shook's "Woman of the Fan".
