Mental Health First Aid is a public education course that brings awareness to mental health concerns by introducing participants to risk factorsand warning signs of mental health problems, builds understanding of their impact and overviews common treatments.
Youth Mental Health First Aid is targeted towards individuals who work with adolescents and young adults age 12-18.
Participants will receive:
C4 offers continuing education credits for the following professionals who attend the Adult MHFA course:
*This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. *
Professionals certified through the Illinois Alcohol and Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association (IAODAPCA) may petition for continuing education credits for a $10 fee. Visit the IAODAPCA website for information on the process.
