Season of Giving 2016
The holidays are coming, which means two things: people all over Chicago will be rushing around trying to find all their perfect gifts and finding ways to spread holiday cheer. Northcenter Chamber of Commerce and local Northcenter businesses are coming together to encourage residents to give back while shopping local through the Season of Giving campaign.
Beginning Friday, November 18th through Christmas Day, select businesses will be collecting food and toiletry donations for Common Pantry. In an effort to reward community members for giving back and shopping locally, several participants are offering great deals and incentives for donations. Please visit their website for the latest information on most-needed items.
From November 18th until Christmas Day 2016, shoppers can visit the following local businesses with their donations and, where specified, receive some great deals and specials! Keep checking back as the list of participants grows!
2. Blue Sky Bakery & Cafe (3720 N. Lincoln): Drop off your donations when you come visit!
3. Da Sorce (4353 N. Lincoln): Bring in a Non-Perishable Food and/or Toy item in and receive a free comic book (comic books are preselected behind the counter) and 10% off your purchase (coupon needs to be used on day you bring item in).
4. Fettes, Love & Sieben (4325 N. Lincoln): Drop off your donations when you come visit!
5. Freshworks Dental (3864 N. Lincoln): Every person who donates an item will receive a free lip balm and an entry to win a Sonicare electronic toothbrush. Each item donated receives a raffle entry.
6. Kane Insurance Group (4016 N. Lincoln): Free insurance review with donation.
7. Mainstream Boutique (4357 N. Lincoln): Bring in non-perishable food items and receive $5 off your Mainstream Boutique purchase! Offer may not be combined with other offers. One time use per customer per visit. Offer valid through November 23rd.
8. Rev. Billy's Chop Shop (4314 N. Lincoln): 20% off on purchased hair care products with donation.
9. zulu dog + cat boutique (3919 N Lincoln): Free treat for your pet and $5 coupon for your next visit!
10. Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro (3905 N. Lincoln): Drop off donations here!
