The mission of Third Coast Percussion is to inspire and educate through the creation of exciting and unexpected musical experiences.

Through recordings, education programs, commissions, collaborative productions, community-centered concerts, and more, TCP creates genuine relationships with its partners and audiences. Direct connections are at the core of all of Third Coast Percussion’s work, whether the musicians are speaking from the stage about a new piece of music, leading a young band or orchestra in composing their own piece of music, or commissioning a new work from an emerging composer or twentieth century icon.
