Lakeview Orchestra announces the first indoor concert performances for audiences at the Athenaeum Theatre since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Symphonic Variations on an African Air by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor will open the concert, followed by hornist Matthew Bronstein performing Richard Strauss’ Horn Concerto No. 1. Following an intermission, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 will be performed to conclude the program. Lakeview Orchestra Artistic Director Gregory Hughes will conduct. Attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination or negative test upon arrival at the Athenaeum Theatre. All patrons are required to wear face coverings at all times regardless of vaccination status, including while seated during the performance.
